Is this worth it? Read this first

The villas are spacious and beautifully designed, complete with a private plunge pool. Service is really good as breakfast is served to your room each morning.

While the atmosphere is lovely, there's minimal nearby dining options and the bar lacks drink expertise, falling short of expectations.

The room with movies. The hotel had a central location to visit the beach.

The staff was excellent. The villas that are offered are very special, mine included a private pool. A personally chosen breakfast was served on the veranda every morning. The resort overlooks the Big Buddha statue and I was lucky to have good sunset views every evening. The resort also offers a rather large pool which is beach side.

The beach is not very spectacular.

Clean and fantastic hotel with exceptional view of the Bay of Thailand. Hospitable stuff, beautiful location to the nice beaches. Right by the shops which are very nearby as well as local bars/restaurants.

Had a very lovely stay for a total spoiling vacation, everything was perfect. I was upgraded to beautifully designed junior suite with movies. The staff were helpful, excellent location on a hammock looking out to sea. I loved being in this place.

Chur, the rooms are massive and clean as a whistle, but the staff could be a bit offish which leaves a sour taste. The private plunge pool is a real treat!

1. The wc was cleaned only on the 3rd day. Or was it just done too fast and not clean enough? 2. An unpleasant smell of drains was present after each shower 3. Several times the breakfast order was wrong and late. We were also disappointed by the poor quality of the food: every day the same jam, the same toast and the same fruits. Even we ordered more fruits (it took 3 days to work), we just got two more cups of fruit salad. 4. Understandings of some receptionists was bad and did not respond to my requests (general informations needed by a tourist) 5. The happy hour of the pool bar is quite special: happy hour means “by one, get one free”. We did order only one time a cocktail because the prices are too high. This is not a real nice surprise and limited our consumption in the hotel. We preferred to leave the hotel to eat and drink. 6. Internal prices policy is disastrous: 10% service charge at the pool bar and very expensive massages are not acceptable when a customer pays almost 10’000 Baht per night. 7. Same point for the car and scooter rental: receptionists do not show motivated to find a solution with correct prices for the customer. The scooter has cost 300 Baht per day while other rentals were costing half. Other point: we wanted to keep the scooter one more half day, which would have cost 150 Baht, the receptionist was not able to deal this and we had to pay 200 Baht. 8. Last but not least: porn movies and pictures on the TV box! We wanted to watch a movie and were absolutely shocked to see the TV box full of such stuff. The intern service charges at the pool bar, the expensive massages (also using the discount), the expensive car rental and the global appreciation give a “money-making” picture of the hotel and this is unacceptable for this price.

The breakfast delivered to our villa was a good touch, and we loved relaxing in our private plunge pool while enjoying the lovely sunset views.

Very good service and food, Breakfast was delicious. Staff is very friendly and customer oriented. Private pool is great, TV and free video entertainment good for rainy afternoons.

There is no beach! There are stairs which directly lead into the ocean, thats it.

This place blew me away! I loved hanging out in the gorgeous outdoor pool and indulging in a fab massage at the spa. On a minor note, I wished there were more lounge chairs by the pool, but overall, it was the perfect getaway. 🌅

Beautiful and amazing facility... literally the most architecturally lovely and refined place I've every stayed. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and bathrooms with separate tub and shower that are nearly the size of the main room. The food was excellent and there was a lovely pool/bar area at the end of a private pier with beach access and views of the Big Buddha.

This top-end resort has just opened (as of April 2011) and for that reason is "test driving" the service at very discounted rates. If you don't mind a few bumps in the service (for example, they cleaned my room even though I put out the do not disturb sign) then it is an excellent buy!
